Hello Kitty was born on November 1st 1974, in suburban London, England.
She is very energetic and loves to play outdoors, in the park or forest. But you can also find her happily practicing on the piano or baking a cake, too!
Kitty lives in London, England with her mother, Mary, dad, George, and twin sister Mimmy. Kitty is curious whereas Mimmy is shy.
Hello Kitty symbolizes generosity, innocence, kindness and most importantly... friendship
Her friends are Cathy, Tippy, Joey, Jodie, Fifi, Tracy, Tiny Chum, Rory, Mory, Tim and Tommy. Both Hello Kitty and Mimi are in 3rd grade. They have many friends at school and, together, they share many adventures. When school's out Hello Kitty travels the world making new friends.
Her generosity and kindness endear her to everyone she meets. Her favorite thing is do tea parties and her hobbies include music, reading, eating the cookies her mother bakes, and best of all making new friends. Like she says "You can never have too many friends." She weighs the same as 3 apples.

MIMMY - Kitty's twin sister. She is shy. Kitty and Mimmy always spend time together because they are best friends. Mimmy wears a ribbon on her right ear so people can tell her and Kitty apart.
ANTHONY - Kittys Grandpa. He knows lots of neat stuff, and can tell great tales. Also he loves to paint
MARGARET - Kitty's Grandma. She is a master pudding maker. And she loves doing embroidery in her rocking-chair.
CATHY - She is a quiet and gentle little girl rabbit. She always thinks of others before herself.
TIPPY- He is a strong and kind-hearted. And this big lad wants to be Kitty's number one beau.
JOEY - He is the most popular guy at school. As he is a cute mouse, he is a bit of a butterfingers but top-notch in track events.
JOEYS Girlfriend - Joeys girlfriend is as active as he is and often keeps him running
JODIE - A dog with a noggin for knowledge. Loves to study, and wants to be a researcher some day.
TRACY - He is a perky little raccoon who is often up to some harmless mischief. And he is everyone's friend!!!!
About the Creation of Hello Kitty
Hello Kitty is the popular cartoon character created in 1974 by the Sanrio Company of Japan. Hello Kitty is a white, mouthless female kitten who lives in a seemingly perfect world. Kind, friendly and impossibly cute, she offers advice like "Hello Kitty says be yourself!" Hello kitty history - 1974In the very beginning, Hello Kitty, did not have a name. It was first seen as a kitty with a little red bow on its left ear, sitting down. However, Hello Kitty instantly attracted respect and love of thousands of people in Japan with its cute design and character, which turned Hello Kitty into an instant celebrity.
Hello kitty history - 1975This cute kitty was finally given a name, called Hello Kitty. The very first item which featured Hello Kitty was a wallet, which was a very tiny purse with the picture of Hello Kitty embriod on its side. Hello Kitty's family was also introduced.
Hello kitty history - 1976The company Sanrio took the job of the main distributor and owner of Hello Kitty. Sanrio welcomed and celebrated Hello Kitty by creating a new pose for Hello Kitty. Instead of just a sitting pose, they made Hello Kitty a standing pose.
